Banky W. Puts An End To All Of The Rumors, Tells The Truth About The Wizkid Situation

While partying with 2face in Dubai, Banky W in an exclusive interview had this to say:
“It’s all bad belle people, they think there may be bad news and when you don’t give them that news they start to create it because bad news sells more than good news.
First of all (go down low…lol), there was no twitter fight, people go online and use photoshop to create my profile and then they go and create Wizkid’s profile and say he said this and that – even when it never happened. What happened is that we have been working on Wizzy’s project to make it work internationally and when you are getting to that level, things change.
He has his own idea of what he wants to do and we are in 100% support of that and these were the things we dreamed of back in 2009 when I signed him….Wizkid is still signed to the E.M.E!!!
On Wizkid’s starboy entertainment, he said “well you know that is something else he wants to do, he wants to start his record label just like I started mine then and see where I am today. You have a lot of people fabricating stuff and trying to make it feel like there is a battle and you know we don’t believe in that…we are all mature and grown up people…he is absolutely and still part of the family…”
When asked “how does it work for him to have star boy entertainment and still be part of E.M.E”
he said, “I would give you a fantastic example, Kanye West has GOOD MUSIC and he is still with Rock Nation, ROCKAFELLA…I rest my case”

Finding A Wife Is Difficult For Me--Mikel Obi

Chelsea midfielder and Super Eagles footballer, John Mikel Obi has revealed that he is really finding it difficult getting who to marry a
s a wife.

The former Norway's Lyn Oslo FC player told Kayode Tijani, who is a seasoned sport journalist, in a recent interview that his major problem is getting who really loves him for who he is and not for what he has or has achieved as a footballer.

"I know normal people do not go through what I am going through now when it concerns finding a wife to marry, normal people don't at all," he said.

Mikel then confessed that, "believe me, it's so difficult, very difficult [getting a wife]. You just have to leave it to God to find someone who truly loves you.

"There might be someone who truly loves me for who I am but I may not be aware [of the person] but maybe [because] you don't know or think she is one of those people that loves you for who you are or what you have, because of your money, or maybe she is [just] there for you, you never know, you get so confused.

"Now, I have decided I will just leave it to God to decide who I get married to."

"I'm still in love with Jim Iyke' - actress Stephnora Okere confesses

Actress Stephnora Okere and Jim Iyke dated for a while many years back and according to an interview she granted Stella Dimoko Korkus in this week's Encomium magazine, she's still in love with him. Excerpts from the interview:

"I've been maintaining a low profile because of the fact that I wanted to re-arrange myself for the future having made one or two mistakes in the past.
SDK: "What mistakes are you referring to? As an actress or your personal life?"
Stephnora: "Both. First as an actress, I allowed myself to put on weight and that is not good for the kind of profession I'm in. When I gained weight, I lost a lot of offer for movie roles. My personal life mistake concerns my involvement in a marriage process that never scaled through. I got involved with someone with someone who doesn't understand what the word love means. It took me being involved in that relationship to realise what true love really means. It made me realise that I had loved and still do love someone else."
Yep, you guessed right, she's still in love with Jim Iyke. I hope single Jim Iyke reads this blog...lol. Continue to see the rest of the interview...

SDK: Who exactly are you referring to that you still love?
Stephnora: I still love Jim Iyke
SDK: Wow, that's some revelation. I am sure even Jim Iyke will be shocked to read this. He must have impacted on you strongly.
Stephnora: Jim was and is still the best friend I've ever had. He was not just around, he was there as a friend, brother, lover, companion. He was always there. He understood me.

Femi Kut Denies Fatherland: “I Am Not A Nigerian”

First son of the late Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, due to what music has turned to in Nigeria, is not limiting himself to be a Nigerian citizen; he’s rather a citizen of the Africa continent. The reason being that, the music he plays is more welcomed and accepted in other black nations and nations where Afrobeat is played and enjoyed than Nigeria.

“Afro beat can never die, maybe in Nigeria, but in America, there are over forty to fifty bands; in New York alone there are over 20 bands; it exists in Japan, Australia, San Francisco and other parts of the world.

So when you think that afro beat is dying in Nigeria, in other parts of the world, it is becoming bigger and more popular. It does not matter where it originated from, we are all from the same planet, and I am not going to get caught in the foolishness of being a Nigerian," he charged.

The award winning Femi Kuti said, "I am not a Nigerian, I am an African. When you understand the history of Nigeria, Nigeria is a colonial structure set in motion by Lady Lugard. So Nigeria is not our name.

When you understand the history of Africa, then you will not be foolish to fall into the category of calling yourself a Nigerian. I am an African, because you understand that Africa was divided 1885. When you look at it from that perspective, you will understand that people appreciate the talents that come out from this part of the world.”

Hmm!!! what an astonished words coming from the son of the legend...
